The digital consulting group FLO announces two significant additions to its team. Karel Šťastný, who joins from Salesforce, will take on the role of Regional Business Director, while David Bárta from Publicis will lead the Branded Content team. Both new members bring key competencies in further developing services and technological innovations for clients in the Czech Republic and the broader region.

Karel Šťastný brings extensive experience from his time at the leading technology company, Salesforce, where he participated in innovative projects with major companies across the Czech Republic and Slovakia over the past three years. He has also held positions at IBM, GoodData, and Oracle. In his new role, he will be responsible for business strategies and support for regional enterprise clients, focusing on enhancing modern customer experiences.
“It may sound cliché, but in practice, we still see this as a frequent issue – without properly processed data, companies lack relevant information. As a result, they struggle to care for their existing customers effectively, and acquiring new clients becomes unnecessarily expensive,” says Šťastný. “Now that we can finally leverage the power of artificial intelligence, it is all the more important to work with data correctly and efficiently. I will primarily focus on improving the customer experience through Salesforce, complemented by advanced data management with the Databricks platform.”
David Bárta joins FLO's content team, where he will be responsible for its management, strategy, and tailor-made content creation for clients like Porsche Czech Republic, Burrito Loco, and brands within the Hartmann portfolio. “Both online and offline, one trend swiftly follows another. Even minor trends from TikTok are influential today, pushing brands towards quick reactions and a need to adapt and reflect new developments in their communications,” Bárta explains. “For me, it’s crucial to work with a team that can swiftly implement such changes, ensuring they align with the client's and their customers' needs. I’m stepping into a well-established team that excels at this.”
Bárta joins from the communication group Publicis, where he was Head of Content, managing a team focused on content and the execution of communication strategies on social media, integrated into campaigns for clients like Garnier, Netflix Czech Republic, and IKEA. Before that, he spent six years at the McCann Prague agency, specialising in social media and PR. Currently, he also serves as a judge for the TikTok Ad Awards in Central Europe.
