The digital consultancy firm FLO is focusing on expanding into the United Kingdom and Ireland (UKI) this year. This move represents a strategic extension of the company’s activities into one of the most competitive markets in Europe. The expansion also brings personnel changes – Marián Grofčík will now focus on expanding in the UKI region, Justinas Pesliak takes over as Head of the Customer Experience (CX) division, and Robert Pyrah joins the Brand Experience (BX) team. At the same time, FLO is beginning to focus on German-speaking markets (DACH).
FLO Expands into the UK and Strengthens Its Team
While the UKI region remains FLO’s priority and the expansion there is gaining momentum, the company is also increasing its influence in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and especially Switzerland). The international experience of Robert Pyrah and Justinas Pesliak will be key to further growth in these countries. “Our ambitions in Europe are long-term and systematic. In the UKI, we are building on our historical presence and aiming to establish a strong position. At the same time, we are monitoring opportunities in German-speaking countries, where we already have valuable know-how and significant clients,” says Andrej Hájek, CEO of FLO.
Marián Grofčík Leads Expansion into the UKI
The current leader of the CX division, Marián Grofčík, will now focus on FLO’s strategic expansion in the UKI. “This market is highly competitive and places significant demands on the quality of consulting and technology services. The advantage for FLO CX is that UKI is not a new market for us – alongside our presence in Australia, we have previously been active in the UKI, and now we want to build on that experience,” says Grofčík, who is transitioning into the role of Chief Growth Officer within the CX division. “Our position will be even stronger now, thanks to experience from major projects such as the implementation of Salesforce for the largest Czech bank, the digital transformation of Australian real estate giant Domain, or the deployment of AI tools for many major companies,” he adds.
Marián brought extensive experience from the consulting sector to FLO. He began his career at major international consulting firms, having worked at KPMG and Accenture. In 2016, he joined Bluewolf, the first specialised Salesforce consulting company, which held a strong position in the U.S. market and successfully expanded into the UK and France. At the time Marián joined the company, the Prague branch was being established, and within two years, it grew from zero to 40 people, becoming the largest Salesforce consulting firm in the Czech Republic. Under his leadership, the team primarily worked with clients from the UK and the U.S., helping to develop Salesforce technologies in the Central and Eastern European markets.
This experience was crucial for the founding of bluez.io – a Czech-Australian company focused on consulting related to Salesforce technology. Thanks to a strong network of contacts in the U.S. and the UK, he quickly assembled a highly qualified team that worked for top-tier clients. After bluez.io was acquired by FLO, he led the entire CX division and oversaw its strategic development.
Marián is passionate about swimming and adventurous travel. He particularly enjoys road trips in vintage cars – for example, he drove his old Lada on a journey from Europe to Thailand. He documents his expeditions in books and documentary series.

Justinas Pesliak Becomes the New Head of CX
Justinas Pesliak joins FLO as the new Head of CX. Originally from Lithuania, he has been building his experience across Europe for the past 15 years: in Portugal, Poland, UK, Switzerland and, since 2018, in Czechia. Initially coming from a data-driven marketing background, he gradually moved into the world of technology, where he focused on digital transformation and Salesforce solutions. He has worked at companies such as Reckitt, Isobar, Merkle. His major focus in the past years was building and leading Salesforce practices in Czechia and CEE, up to forming a team of 140+ dedicated Salesforce specialists across the region. Additionally, he was closely involved in business development across the DACH region, with direct responsibility of key clients in the retail vertical in Switzerland. His main goal at FLO is to bring innovation and deepen collaboration between all FLO teams, leading to more efficient delivery of tailored solutions to clients and thus an even better customer experience in general.
“Businesses today work with a huge amount of data, which will only grow, but not all of it is used properly. The key is to connect the data points intelligently and use the right technology to enable it across all the stages of the customer lifecycle, to make the entire customer experience seamless and highly personalised,” says Pesliak.
His hobbies include hiking, cycling, and skiing. When he needs a break from work, he often heads into nature. “Being outdoors, especially in challenging conditions, helps me gain perspective. It clarifies priorities and allows me to return with renewed energy,” he says.
Robert Pyrah Strengthens the BX Team and Oversees the Swiss Market
FLO’s expansion into the UKI also involves strengthening the BX team with the addition of Robert Pyrah. Originally from the UK, Robert is a renowned expert in brand consulting with over 20 years of experience. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with leading global brands, working on projects such as naming cars for Opel and pharmaceuticals for Novartis. At FLO, he will focus on brand development in the UKI and also oversee part of the Swiss market.
“The biggest challenge in the UK market is its saturation – countless agencies operate here, offering a wide range of services. That’s why it makes sense to specialise in specific industries such as pharmaceuticals and the automotive sector, where we can offer deep expertise and deliver real results,” says Pyrah.
A key topic for him is the smart use of AI in branding. “AI is a great tool, but it’s not enough on its own. The crucial factor is knowing how to integrate it properly – results always depend on the people who set a clear strategy and add something extra that no technology can replace,” he explains.
Robert studied history and languages at Oxford, where he earned his PhD. Alongside his work in brand consulting, he has been involved in academic history for over 25 years and is a researcher at Wolfson College, Oxford.
In his free time, Robert is interested in Central Europe after the collapse of the Habsburg monarchy, particularly Austria, Poland, and western Ukraine. Working for a Prague-based agency allows him to connect his professional life with his personal interests – studying the history of the region, enjoying architecture and art, and indulging in Prague’s renowned café culture.
